Idube Private Game Reserve recently announced the launch of the new Makubela Suites. These are two completely new suites each with theirown private splash pools. Every effort has been made to conserve the environment, rain water is directed off the roofs to a holding tank and will be used to water the bush. To reduce our carbon footprint and as has been done with the rest of Idube, gas geysers have been installed in order to save electricity. The bush surrounding the suites is completely natural
The suites are named after a female leopard who included the lodge as part of her territory. She died in 2010 in the grounds after a massive fight with a male. A firm favourite with staff and guests alike, Makubela will always be remembered.
A stay at Idube combines the peace and tranquility of the unspoiled bush with the comfort of a luxury lodge.
