2nd Day
Awaken at dawn and after a quick cup of coffee, leave the hotel and travel to Phabeni entrance gate. Head off on a memorable early morning game drive looking for lions and other Big Five species ( lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo). Stop at one of the rest camps for breakfast then continue on the mid-morning drive to a waterhole to look for hippos, crocodile & birds . After a break for lunch and curio shopping join your guide for the afternoon game drive to see animals grazing before sunset. Arrive back at Little Pilgrims for a well-earned rest and maybe a swim. Your guide will discuss arrangements for dinner which may be in a different restaurant.
3rd Day
This morning we suggest a later start, relaxing breakfast at your hotel then a scenic drive via the Sabie Valley and over Long Tom Pass. This is on the Panorama Route so you will stop for photos and to inspect the cannons from the Anglo Boer War. Continue to Lydenburg which is well known for trout fishing and past the tourist town of Dullstroom where you may stop for lunch. Return home to Gauteng by late afternoon with lots of photos and memories.
