Kruger Park Itinerary:

1st Day
Arrive at Sabie River Bush Lodge after 14.00 at your leisure - settle into your room then we suggest a refreshing swim and relax on the deck with your camera nearby. As sunset approaches, it's a great spot to watch elephants, hippos and maybe crocodiles in the river. Enjoy dinner or a braai in the Gecko restaurant which is fully licenced. Return to your room and expect to hear hippos snorting during the night.

2nd Day
Awaken early and prepare for a full day game viewing. Tea and coffee is available in the rooms. Meet your guide with the open safari vehicle - drive a short distance to the entrance of Kruger Park. Proceed on the sunrise game drive stopping regularly to photograph the animals. Visit a camp or picnic area where you can step out of the vehicle and your guide will supply breakfast packs. Time to relax and discuss the best sightings. Continue on the mid-morning drive which follows a different route and includes some river viewpoints where animals may be drinking. Kruger also has a variety of water birds which are great for photos. Stop for a lunchbreak and curio shopping. Join your guide for the final drive of the day and another chance to see Big 5 species. Exit Kruger and return to the lodge by late afternoon for a sundowner on the pool deck. Dinner in the restaurant and a good night's sleep.

3rd Day
Breakfast is served at the lodge from 06.30 and check out by 10.00. Today you can decide to have an extra morning game drive in Kruger (at additional cost) or plan a scenic drive on the Panorama Route which is the main attraction after the game viewing. Visit Graskop Gorge Lift, Blyde River Canyon or God's Window with your own car then continue the journey home. Staff at the lodge can advise on timing.
