Price - R 3,000 includes hire of vehicle, services of your Driver / Guide & bottled water. So for a family of 4 the basic price  is  R 750 per person. 

For own cost -

• Pilanesberg entrance: R80 per adult, R30 per child under 12 years , R40 per pensioner.
• Sun City entrance : R75 per adult , R65 per child under 12 years

Guide - Professional guide with several years experience & qualified to conduct tours in our National Parks.

Departure time - recommended by 06.30 from you home or hotel & return late afternoon.

Refreshments available - breakfast on the go, lunch in Pilanesberg or at Sun City. Families may bring a cool box with their own supplies by arrangement.

Itinerary

Depart from Johannesburg or Pretoria in an air-conditioned microbus and drive north towards the Magaliesberg mountains and Hartbeespoort Dam. Stop for refreshments & toilet then proceed to the entrance of Pilanesberg National Park. Prepare your cameras for an exciting game drive to look for Big Five species ( lion, leopard, elephant, rhino & buffalo ) as well as giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, antelope and many colourful birds.

Proceed to Sun City where your guide will do a short orientation of the Hotels, Entertainment Centre & the well-known Bridge of Time overlooking the Valley of the Waves. Then you will have time to enjoy lunch at one of several restaurants or explore places of interest . Meet your guide for the return journey arriving back in Gauteng by late afternoon.

Option - Full Day in Pilanesberg

Full day game viewing with a morning & afternoon drives. Your guide will discuss suitable places for lunch or go to a picnic spot. This is the preferred option for animal lovers & less expensive as you avoid the costs of Sun City entrance & activities.

Pilanesberg National Park covers an area of 55,000 hectares and is situated in the North West Province in an eroded volcano which is millions of years old. This park is unique because it is the result of one of the biggest ever game translocations with over 6,000 animals having been relocated to Pilanesberg since 1979. There is a wide diversity of animals including "the Big Five" as well as 30 other large mammal species, 350 birds and 65 reptiles. Just nearby is South Africa's most dynamic and exciting entertainment complex - Sun City Resort. There are many activities on offer such as the Valley of the Waves, Sun City Waterworld, the Entertainment Centre, Sun City Casino & a variety of restaurants.
