Soweto is synonymous with the struggle for freedom in South Africa and is a vibrant, culturally rich township situated on the outskirts of Johannesburg. Within Soweto you will see the Hector Petersen Memorial, Regina Mundi Church, Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, Mandela's House, Freedom Square and the Oppenheimer Tower.
